Futishub is a social platform that helps football enthusiasts play football games with other people by organising football games in Helsinki and the surrounding area.

The terms and conditions apply to you, the user of the website and FutisHub, the owner of this website. By accessing the website, creating an account, making a booking or participating in a game, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services. 

Eligibility & Age Requirement 

  1. You represent and warrant that all information you provide is true, accurate, current, and complete.
  2. You must be at least 16 years old to book or participate in a FutisHub game.  

By using the platform, you confirm that you meet the minimum age requirement and agree to abide by all terms and conditions. If you provide any information that is untrue, inaccurate, not current, or incomplete, we reserve the right to refuse any current or future use of the site

Booking & Participation 

  1. All bookings are subject to availability 
  2. Game participation is personal and non-transferable unless otherwise agreed by FutisHub
  3. You agree to follow all venue rules and instructions provided by Futishub, game hosts or venue owners. 

Assumption of Risk & Liability

Participation in football involves physical activity and carries inherent risks of injury, harm, or even death. By booking and participating, you acknowledge and agree that:

  1. You voluntarily assume all risks associated with participating in the games.
  2. FutisHub does not supervise or control games once they occur, and is not responsible for the conduct or actions of players, hosts, venue staff, or third parties.
  3. You participate at your own risk.
  4. You agree that FutisHub and its officers, employees, agents, affiliates, licensors, and suppliers are not liable for any injuries, property damage, loss, or costs sustained as a result of participation, except as prohibited by law.

By accepting these Terms & Conditions, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the Liability Waiver & Assumption of Risk. Your participation is subject to our Liability Waiver & Assumption of Risk, which forms an integral part of these Terms & Conditions.

Medical & Insurance

  1. FutisHub strongly recommends participants have adequate personal medical/health insurance to cover injuries or medical expenses related to participation.
  2. FutisHub does not provide insurance coverage for any damage caused by users. All claims, costs, or liabilities arising from such incidents must be handled directly by the responsible user

Cancellations & Refunds

  1. You may cancel your spot up to 24 hours before kickoff to receive a full refund (if your booking type entitles you to a refund).
  2. Cancellations made within 24 hours of kickoff are not eligible for refunds unless required by applicable law. 
  3. FutisHub reserves the right to cancel or reschedule games due to weather, venue cancellation, or insufficient players. In such cases, bookings may be fully refunded or moved to a new date at FutisHub’s discretion.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  1. FutisHub and its employees, officers, directors, partners, suppliers, and agents will not be liable for any direct or indirect loss or damage arising from your use of the Website, booking process, participation in games, or inability to participate.
  2. This includes personal injury, economic loss, loss of data, goodwill, or any other intangible losses.
  3. FutisHub is not responsible for any damage, loss, or destruction of property belonging to users or third parties during participation in our activities, events, or services.
  4. You agree to be solely responsible for any damage caused to third-party property, including but not limited to sports facilities, equipment, or personal belongings.

Website use & conduct

  1. You agree not to use the Website for unlawful or unauthorised purposes.
  2. You must not transmit any harmful code, viruses, or content that disrupts the operation of the Website.

Intellectual property

  1. All content on the Website (text, logos, images, code) is owned by FutisHub or its licensors.
  2. You may not use the content for commercial purposes

Privacy

Your use of the Website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information.

Changes to Terms

FutisHub may update these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Website or Services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of Finland. Any disputes relating to these Terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Finland.
