Acceptance of Risk
By booking, attending, or participating in any football game, training session, or event organised by FutisHub (“we”, “us”, “our”), you acknowledge and agree that football is a physical sport involving inherent risks.
These risks include, but are not limited to:
- Slips, trips, and falls
- Collisions with other players
- Muscle strains, sprains, fractures, or other injuries
- Injuries caused by contact with equipment, goalposts, balls, or playing surfaces
- Injuries caused by weather conditions or field conditions
- Medical emergencies, including but not limited to cardiac events
You voluntarily choose to participate with full knowledge of these risks
Assumption of Responsibility
By participating in FutisHub activities, you confirm that:
- You are physically and medically fit to participate in football activities
- You have no medical condition that would make participation unsafe
- You understand that you participate entirely at your own risk
- You are responsible for assessing whether a game, venue, or playing condition is suitable for you
Waiver & Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that:
FutisHub, its owners, employees, contractors, hosts, volunteers, and partners shall not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, or expense arising from participation in FutisHub activities
This includes injuries caused by:
- Other participants
- Venue conditions
- Equipment
- Accidental or incidental events
Nothing in this waiver excludes or limits liability for:
- Gross negligence
- Wilful misconduct
- Liability that cannot be excluded under Finnish or EU law
No Professional Supervision
You acknowledge that:
- FutisHub does not provide professional coaching, professional refereeing or medical supervision unless explicitly stated
- Games are recreational and social
- You are responsible for warming up, cooling down, and playing within your own physical limits
Venue & Third-Party Facilities
Football games may take place at third-party venues (indoor or outdoor).
You acknowledge that:
- FutisHub does not own or control these venues
- FutisHub is not responsible for venue maintenance, surface quality, or facility safety
- Venue rules must be followed at all times
Medical Treatment
In the event of injury or illness during a FutisHub activity:
- You consent to receive first aid or emergency medical treatment if deemed necessary
- You accept full responsibility for any medical costs incurred
Personal property
FutisHub is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings brought to games or venues.
Insurance
You are responsible for ensuring that you have:
- Adequate personal health insurance
- Any additional insurance you consider necessary for sports participation
FutisHub does not provide personal injury insurance for participants unless explicitly stated.
Age Requirement
Participation is limited to individuals aged 16 years or older.
By booking and attending, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
Conduct and safety
You agree to:
- Play fairly and respectfully
- Follow FutisHub rules and host instructions
- Avoid reckless or dangerous behaviour
FutisHub reserves the right to remove any participant from a game without refund if their behaviour endangers others.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FutisHub from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:
- Your participation in FutisHub activities
- Your breach of these terms
- Your actions causing injury or loss to others
Acknowledgement & Agreement
By booking a game, attending an event, or participating in FutisHub activities, you confirm that:
- You have read and understood this Liability Waiver & Assumption of Risk
- You voluntarily agree to its terms
- You understand that this waiver is binding
Governing Law
This Liability Waiver shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Finland.
